The Marc Bannister Collection is a unique collection of limited edition die-cast miniature transport models.
It displays works of craftsmanship collected in the 21st century to strict standards. Immaculately displayed, the sophisticated worldwide collection makes The Marc Bannister Collection deserve the brand its heritage has been built upon.
The year 2020 marks the 19th year of The Marc Bannister Collection, which was established in 2001.
I have collected transport toys all my life, but started this professional collection, whilst still in junior school, at the age of eleven, in July 2001. I saw an advert in The Times newspaper for the New MINI Cooper, and, having already seen a review of it on BBC Top Gear, decided that I would like to buy a model of that car. Corgi Collectables launched a range of ten, but then they introduced another, then another, then another… and now I have over 300, meaning I am now the proud owner of one of the largest private collections of Mini/MINI model cars in the United Kingdom.
I also include other models in my Collection, most notably that of Eddie Stobart, and when it listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2007, I just had to own a part of the company.
